| LLANERCH FIRE COMPANY'S 1ST ANNUAL FAMILY DAY |
| Date: |
5/14/05 |
The Llanerch Fire Company held our 1st annual Family Day today.
The day started out with a golf outting at McCall Field, followed by a family picnic. Members and their
families spent the beautiful afternoon socializing and feasting on roast pig, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
The kids (as well as some members!) had a blast on the moon bounces, superslide, and plunging some members
into the dunk tank. The day concluded with a cocktail party and awards ceremony at the McCall Field
Banquet Hall. The crew would like to thank the Board & Banquet Committee for putting the day together,
and we hope this is the 1st of many Family Days! |

In between the picnic and cocktail party, members found time to
educate some local cub scouts on fire prevention and give them a tour of the firehouse. The boys (and some
of the parents) seemed to really get a lot out of their visit. All in all, today was a long day for the
members of Station 34! |
