Ambulance 34-7 was dispatched along with Medic 108 to City Ave
& Haverford Rd, Lower Merion, for an accident with possible entrapment. Upon arrival, it was determined
that there was no entrapment, but EMS services were needed for 2 patients. One was transported by Philly
Medic 9, the other by 34-7. LMFD Units E21 and Sq21 were on location with Philadelphia Units E54 and E41
as well. |

| LLANERCH EMS RUNS FATAL MVA |

Llanerch EMS, Haverford Township paramedics, Engine 31 (Brookline), Rescue 1 (Oakmont),
and Rescue 5 (Manoa) responded to an accident on the 700 blk of Manoa Road in the area of the trolley station around 3:30 PM.
Brookline 5 (Chief J. Viola) arrived on location and reduced apparatus speed, stating an obvious DOA. |

| LLANERCH PARK DAY |

After the DelCo Firefighters’ Competition, crews returned home to
help out during Llanerch Park Day at the Stratford Friend’s School (Darby & Landillo Rds). Kids
enjoyed checking out the apparatus, as well as getting fire truck rides around the neighborhood. Hot dogs,
water ice, and soft pretzels were served. Kids enjoyed sliding down the Super Slide and the display of
exotic birds. Thanks to the Llanerch Civic Association for the invite to another great Llanerch Park Day. |

| DELCO FIREFIGHTERS' COMPETITION |

Today, members of Llanerch Fire Company competed against other
area firefighters in the Delaware County Firefighters’ Competition at Rose Tree Park, Media. Lt. Al
Keoner, and firefighters Zach Zacharka, John Leonard, Jill Campbell, Tom Vogelgesang, and Sam Dolmatz
competed against other DelCo fire companies in such events as the Deck Gun Scramble, Handline Blitz,
Bucket Brigade, and Iron Man/Woman Challenge. Although no trophies were brought home, Jill Campbell got
4th in the Iron Woman Challenge, and the guys got 7th in the overall Iron Man Challenge. A great time
was had by all who participated as well as by the Llanerch members that were there to cheer them on.
Proceeds from the event benefited the Delaware County Firefighter & EMS Memorial to be built in the park
in the near future.
