The Llanerch Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Lloyd Dommel. Lloyd was a Board of Director and Life Member of the fire company with 35 years of service. Funeral services were held on Friday, 7/14 at the Spencer/Videon Funeral Home. Lloyd will be sorely missed. The thoughts and prayers of the Board of Directors, Officers, and Crew of the Llanerch Fire Company go out to his family.

The Llanerch Fire Company was proud to once again take part in the Llanerch Civic Association's Independence Day Parade. Children as well as adults followed the apparatus through the streets of Llanerch on decorated bikes, scooters, wagons, floats, as well as on foot. 2nd Ward Commissioner Mario Oliva was the Grand Marshal of the parade and rode in the bucket of Tower 34. The parade ended at the Stratford Friend's School. Ceremonies opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the trumpet duet of David and Nikko Orhowzer playing the Star Spangled Banner. The kids were treated to water ice from Pop's, and soft pretzels. Awards were given out to the best decorated bikes, and floats. Those in attendance were also given some fire safety tips from Deputy Chief Chris Millay and reminded to leave the fireworks to the professionals. The days events ended with the kids (as well as some parents) getting rides on Telesqurt 34. Have a Safe and Happy Independence Day!

| IT MUST BE LOVE |

Tonight, love was in the air at the Llanerch Fire House. Fire Lt. Gene Dolan Jr. got down on his knee and asked EMS Lt. Lisa Fiorentino if she would marry him. Gene chose the Radio Room as the location to pop the question because that is where they first laid eyes on one another. They have been smittin' since. By the way, Lisa said "YES!". A September 2007 wedding is planned. Well wishes to the Love Birds.
